Cedarbrook

The Shoreline School District has announced their intent to sell Cedarbrook, a vacant elementary school located in the city of Shoreline, just yards away from the west boundary of Lake Forest Park.

This site represents one of the few remaining opportunities to develop a multi-use park in the immediate vicinity. Thus, the Coalition for the Preservation of Cedarbrook was formed to prevent the sale of the site, and to encourage the development of the site as a park.

The Lake Forest Park Stewardship Foundation has issued a proclamation in support of our goal of preserving the Cedarbrook site as a park. You may view this proclamation here.

Our Immediate Goal

For us to be successful with this endeavor, our first step must be to secure the property. If we are able to accomplish this, a subsequent process will be necessary to determine the park's design. Find out more about our goals by reading our mission statement.
